I didn't regret bying this item, but expected more of it. The colors don't match the picture and the lamp is not attached to the base.

This lamp would look good wherever you put it. I bought two for our bedroom. Both my wife and I like to read some before we fall asleep. In fact, some of the books I read put me to sleep. I like the looks of the matched set on each side of the bed. Good illumination and artistic beauty. You can't beat that!

These butterflys (i have a pair) beautifully provide a backlight to my bedroom. They are connected to the light switch when you come in the room and they provide sufficient illumination for me to walk across the room and turn on my bedroom table lamp. They are also perfect if you want a little light in the room for well bedroom activities...love them.
